We are seeking a highly analytical and ambitious professional for our Pricing Actuarial Development Program. You will work alongside senior actuaries to develop sophisticated pricing models and refine our risk-assessment strategies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and maintenance of actuarial pricing models for various insurance products.

  • Perform data mining and predictive modeling to identify trends in loss experience and profitability.

  • Assist in the filing process with regulatory bodies by preparing required statistical documentation.

  • Conduct what-if scenario testing to evaluate the impact of proposed rate changes.

  • Collaborate with Underwriting and Product teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.

  • Participate in structured study hours to progress through professional actuarial exams.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.

  • Exam Progress: Successful completion of at least 1–2 professional actuarial exams (e.g., P, FM).

  • Analytical Skills: Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and financial mathematics.

  • Detail Orientation: High degree of accuracy when handling large, complex datasets.

  • Growth Mindset: Strong desire to attain full professional fellowship/accreditation.

Technical Requirements:

  • Software: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, Power Pivot).

  • Programming: Exposure to R, Python, or SAS for statistical computing.

  • Database: Basic to intermediate SQL skills for data extraction.

  • Workspace: Secure home office environment capable of handling sensitive financial data.
